We here at SC Dental Care know there are many reasons why approximately 50% of the U.S. population chooses not to receive dental care.  The most cited reasons are extreme anxiety and fear.

Our answer for people who experience these uncomfortable feelings is Sedation Dentistry.  It is an excellent blend of technology and patient comfort.

During your initial consultation, we will determine if Sedation Dentistry is right for you.  If we prescribe Sedation Dentistry, you will be given a small pill to take approximately one hour prior to your procedure appointment. 

Prior to your procedure, a small electronic sensor will be placed on your fingertip so that our dental professionals can monitor your vital signs.  When you are relaxed, and comfortable, we will begin your procedure.

When we have completed your procedure, a companion must drive you home. Many times, patients do not remember any sounds, smells, or sometimes, even being at the dentist!
